Project Description & Responsibilities

The CCP VR Labs was a 8 person team focused on Virtual Reality research and development formed in 2014. Although each team member was a multi-disciplined specialist, the core make up of the team comprised of engineers, a designer/producer, a technical artist,  and myself as the sole creative artist.

We began by experimenting with combining various different types of VR headsets, camera and tracking hardware. Our interest was always to promote experiences with high levels of physical presence, immersion, comfort, social interaction and physically intuitive usability. 

The following examples are a glance into some of the weird demos, experiences and Frankenstein hardware
mash-ups we experimented with over the course of a year and a half.
