Prototypes
The original prototypes were developed in order to prove that the Disk Wars demo held up with current generation VR Hardware. The prototype had two game modes, Brawl and Volley, along with a social court-side experience bridging the gap between them.

Avatar Design
I led a series of contract character artists to drive the requirements and design for the Project Arena avatars. The avatars were designed for player embodiment, using a custom IK solution developed by our Engineers and Tech Artist, to match and broadcast the users physical movements.
User Experience Design
I designed and implemented an in-game chaperone system to visualize the players ‘safe space’ before asking them to move around in physical space while wearing a VR headset.
Environments/World Building
Project Arena consisted of a single social court-side space and two interchangeable courts that facilitated our two game modes. Working with our Tech Artist for shader and rendering support; I designed, developed and implemented the world space and courts for Project Arena.
Fan Fest 2016
At EVE Fan Fest in 2016 we demoed Project Arena on the Oculus Rift with the first public showing of the Touch controllers. We also developed a mixed reality trailer, which features me pulling out a sudden death victory, that premiered during the opening keynote address.
